okay let’s say you’re hosting a meetup in LA. the venue tells you that there’s room for 50 - 60 people to comfortably stand and chat. how many people would you let RSVP yes before turning on the wait list?

If it’s a free RSVP and during regular week, I would aim for 3x capacity (without +1s) If it’s during a conference, I would aim for 5x -8x capacity.
