if they’re notable enough for that, they’re usually successful in their own right which breaks Fang’s framing

as an artist myself I disagree. anyone who spent 5 to 20 years amongst the artists, Humanities/ Social Sciences etc. meet that criticism, and maybe can do some self-reflection.

i have never witnessed mutual support "thanks to" diversity manuals. I won't comment about it but it's a decayed layer. artistic worlds have deep tribal conditions and even having a rather lighter or darker skin color closes many doors to you.
