Crypto is basically one giant pvp game between the 10,000 people who are actually onchain to make money from dumping on one another atm. Good fun but this needs to change before anyone takes this industry seriously.

there are some nichés that work at privacy scaling, mechanism markets experiments, emergent utilities in pgf; and, people who work at these junctions are extremely silent when it comes impact building imho. shy levels of silence. crypto needs a systemic articulation of itself—&, not necessarily w/ "consumer" tag.

As crypto gets more mainstream, it’s (unfortunately imo) no longer enough to just talk about the interesting work/research we’re doing We now have to meme it, and often the best meme creators have different “goals” than the best builders Fortunately, a few people are great at both

Well ya, and the form they take within niche communities and mainstream communities is often vastly different e.g. “quadratic voting might address some issues in public goods funding” vs. “dog coin gud” Simpler is better, though it’s a high art form to properly convey nuance with simple memes
