The founders of lackluster NFT projects are now issuing meme coins on base. $mfer finds success, but $POOP from Doodles isn't going as well. Perhaps it's because mfers is a true meme, while the others aren't quite mfer material, except for Goblin? which has some meme vibes.

At least mfers have vibes. Could see toadz doing this too but otherwise it just feels like the last gasp for various nft collections.
