Hey @newf! I have a fair amount of experience with Paypal as a LATAM user. I like PayPal’s global reach and security, making international payments easy. But high fees and poor exchange rates are big downsides—on a $500 payment, I can lose nearly $70. So in the end you get the following Favorite Parts of PayPal: Global Reach: Widely accepted for international transactions, making it easy to work with global clients. Ease of Use: Simple interface for managing invoices, payments, and transaction tracking. Security: Trusted platform with strong buyer protection, which adds credibility. Least Favorite Parts: High Fees: Significant fees on international payments, plus added costs when withdrawing to a Peruvian bank. Poor Exchange Rates: Often below market rates, adding hidden costs. Delayed Funds: Holds on large or new transactions can delay access to money when it’s needed urgently.
