How many yards off the tee do you think is needed to play good golf? 

I would think averaging 250 is kind of ideal if you are playing anywhere from 6300-6600 yards (presumably blue tee box)

how good? 275+ pretty standard for most “good” players i play with

however ive played with older players or girls that cant hit more than 225 but keep the ball on a line. 

game is about getting ball in the cup, quickly 

longer just creates more scoring opportunities, which is why all pros are longer than most

Not there yet but most of my issues at the moment are around the green anyway

Works for the blues. 

Need 250+ carry from the blacks and good long iron game.
