How many yards off the tee do you think is needed to play good golf? 

I would think averaging 250 is kind of ideal if you are playing anywhere from 6300-6600 yards (presumably blue tee box)

Works for the blues. 

Need 250+ carry from the blacks and good long iron game.

I’m playing at an 8hcp right now but when I spent more time practicing around the green, I got down to a 4. Most important part of the game once you can stay in play off the tee.

That makes sense

Not there yet but most of my issues at the moment are around the green anyway
