Tonight begins sleep training of my 6 month old……I am terrified but it is necessary….

Learning what I can.  Human and dog dad.  Enjoying the land of ham, tophats and the next new thing I missed already by not being online every hour of the day.

Yeah….our 9 year old sucked at sleep then and sucks at it now…..I think today was beginners luck with the baby….he was pretty much asleep between 5 and 15 minute mark….a little wake up and cry and then asleep…..now we’ll have to get through the nighttime wake ups.

It took my wife and 1 month. We stopped at an hour. One of the most difficult things I have ever done. Our kid is so much better off though. 10 years old and still can easily fall asleep on their own. I am actually jealous sometimes 🤣

Thanks!!! So far the getting to bed wasn’t terrible…..we’ll see how the night time wake ups go…

A nice way of saying you are gonna let your kid cry for a little to learn to go to sleep on their own instead of in your arms……there’s a whole structure around it but that’s essentially it.
