The ideological framing is a bit too extreme but I think it’s directionally correct. That’s why open-sourcing weights and making distributed training a practical alternative are important. Prime Intellect is an interesting company in this space.

Nobody centralized power and resources like these capitalists. "Communism" is scary for them because it means decentralizing economic power into the working class and lower classes which threatens their centralization. So I would say he's got it backwards.
