If you had to guess, what kind of AI device is Jony Ive cooking with Sama? My blue sky bet? Some kind of smart ear bud with vision capabilities — what you’d need to make the iPhone a secondary computer like the laptop became after the iPhone. I’m absolutely fascinated by what Jony Ive is cooking in his next venture(s). He’s one of the world’s few living design legends and he is clearly playing long term games on a level few others are operating on — probably why he’s a good design partner to Sama. Time will tell whether he can top the impact he had at Apple, but if anyone can, it’s Jony.

💯 Mike and Jony cooking together is going to be something special. Feels like the new IDEO. I just read the piece about how LoveFrom is charging up to $200M for design projects. Bonkers money for a design firm.
