It’s my believe that direct democracies don’t work in the analog world and don’t work well in the digital world. Why would it be different in the digital world? Voters don’t have time to understand proposals and need delegates to spend time doing it

They work for some things, like expressing simple preferences They don’t work for good governance, regardless of medium

I agree that representative democracy is a reasonable default. However in a digital democracy it’s possible for voters to use their vote directly at all times if they want to. In a DAO you can delegate but also vote directly. This is an efficient way to mitigate the agency problems that analog democracies have.
