Clearly Anthropic’s business is more focused on developers and OpenAI is the opposite. They are both growing at a really fast pace though!

I saw a graph somewhere showing Anthropic and OAI revenue numbers, and it was pretty close on total revenue

The big difference was the 80/20 split of where the revenue came from

OAI → 80% consumer

Anthropic → 80% API

Interesting to look at recent decisions they’re making through that lens

Those are some good margins. No doubt they have brand recognition in ways other competitors currently lack.
