Americans should be more concerned about domestic threats than those abroad. The TikTok ban grants increased authority to intelligence agencies, which is concerning. Americans would have greater freedom if intelligence agencies wielded less power

Foreign threats use domestic issues to foment distrust and unrest among the populace. We can't be managed directly through hard power so these soft power plays are now the norm. Sadly the gov't response can lead to an erosion of our individual freedoms as a byproduct as everyone tries to overcorrect. Troubling times.

Perhaps America has been historically lulled into a sense of comfort with low-cost goods (globalization) followed by economic stimulus (ZIRP, Covid money printing). So as long as everyone is employed, fed, and entertained - threats to constitutional freedoms can go easily overlooked.

The United States has provided a large amount of money and weapons for the war, which is very bad.
