it's been many years and updating email address is still not possible in ethglobal.com ethglobal uses magic link for authentication. So my guess is they're stuck with some auth provider that doesn't let you control or have sufficient access to the user auth database where you're able to migrate if you need to

Auth is built in house — majority reason for this is twofold: 1) it’s a fairly rare request (less than .08% of our users have requested this to date), and 2) we have some DB debt that requires this to be a manual change. If you’d like to change your email reach out to
[email protected]
. We can do it in most cases, but its manual and takes us a couple weeks to do it.
