We've tried a lot of the onchain stuff, couldn't get it to work. Too many low quality accounts have credentials, balances, attestations etc.  

The best predictor of quality in our experience is "who likes your stuff". All the onchain signals can usually be purchased or grinded through by a dedicated airdrop farmer.

_who_ liked your cast is the top heuristic we use to clean up our Trending Feed API and it works most of the time 🪐

Introducing the Power Badge, a new ranking system from Warpcast.

It uses a PageRank-like approach to recursively find power users who are active and post content that the rest of the network finds interesting.

Unlike the active badge, it does not have a set of rules that you can follow to earn the badge.

Hence emphasis on _who_

The work is to figure out what the credible FID set is — the pagerank approach varun mentioned for power badge is a good way to think about it 

Merkle and Neynar models are different but our ranking also pays attention to what set of FIDs is doing the liking
