One of the reasons why I find Techno-Optimist Manifesto + e/acc a form of toxic positivity.

It seems motivated by blind faith in markets more than figuring out how to maximize well-being. But it makes sense, because the most extreme form of e/acc is sanguine or even gleeful about AI replacing humans as the natural course of evolution. So it's fine if humans are devolving as long as tech is advancing.
