Ever think about your internal clock speed?

I used to be really self conscious about mine because I speak slower than average, but it changed when I realized it’s not linked to intelligence…

Fast: Jerusalem Demsas, Marc Andreesen, many great comedians 

Slow: Obama, Theil, Bezos, many great writers

its more about your thought and contribution than the speed.

I was just talking with @thetreygoff about this! We both have super fast reading machines / visual processors

But he is a fast talker too 😊 while I am more like you

One of my favorite slow talkers is David Lynch, his cadence feels like he’s extremely particular about what he’s gonna saying as he says it

It’s really wonderful to take pause for a minute (as a fast thinker and speaker!) and ponder upon the plurality of our collective ways of being, none more right nor wrong than the other.
