Nearly every Elon tweet lately is an advertisement for decentralized social. His takeover of X is the main reason I became a daily Farcaster user. There are likely millions of users there who want to leave for the same reason but don't know where to go.

And going to a place where everyone is trying to get your money or get you to buy another subscription while bots glaze you up in the comment section is definitely the better choice 🥹

My guess is those problems are only a little worse here than the average across all newer social apps/networks.
