Wondering if zkTLS is the missing puzzle piece for self-sovereign digital identity. We can already sign attestations about other people (ex: EAS, Farcaster), which is valuable but a very slow way to build an identity system because it requires participation from trusted signers. Web Proofs can come from any institution that has user data accessible via the internet without needing the institution’s participation or permission. Aggregate all those attestations & proofs, and voila you have a global identity system with no central control.

If institutions don’t even need to get involved for users to prove stuff, then we’re talking about a way more decentralized and scalable solution. A big W for everyone
