but you had to give it access to all of your social + content apps

rather than chiming in after the fact tho, I'd probs want it to outright prevent some things from ever hitting my feed (e.g. anything NSFL, rage bait, etc)

Reading a tweet is a bit like downloading an (attacker-controlled) executable that you instantly run on your brain. Each one elicits emotions, suggests knowledge, nudges world-view.

In the future it might feel surprising that we allowed direct, untrusted information to brain.

Exactly. Makes me wonder why everyone isn’t at least a little afraid of AI. The only way we can prevent it from maliciously controlling us is by building smarter AI to put blinders on us, effectively entrusting our lives to it.
