Non-sequential timeline. Jumps from Moses interviewed by Caro in the 60s, when he was defeated by Jane Jacob’s but mainstream perception of him was still positive, to long flashbacks of his reign. 

Final scene: book is published & Moses is looking miserable while being chauffeured on a grid-locked expressway.

I liked the Edward Norton Motherless Brooklyn adaptation, which borrowed heavily from The Power Broker. But it would be better as a series!
