It’s wild how much LLMs accelerate dev time.

Just set up a websocket server (I’ve only done this a couple times) which polls for onchain data, refactored my frontend to use it, tested & deployed in under 3 hours.

My instinct for years has been jobs are going to disappear but I’ve been wrong so far. Although it wouldn’t be shocking if the tech industry layoffs of the past few years will continue and expand into the rest of the economy.

It's incredible when you consider all these productivity gains for each person that uses them. At the macro level, it's astounding. All these CEOs saying we just use AI to augment our human employees not replace them are full of shit. If productivity massively increases, you need fewer people unless demand goes up an equal or greater rate.

I laughed the other day when I asked it to give me a plan to build a large database feature and it gave me human estimate (2-3 weeks) and we completed it in about 5.

The speed almost feels dangerous at times because I feel the need to obsessively read the output and add a shit-ton of tests

Wow that's awesome. Just in time for people to rollout a ton of smart contracts etc.. that will really help with wider crypto adoption times.
