Humans with our current level of brain development have been around for 200.000 - 300.000 years The absolute oldest human made structure we have found is about 25.000 years old Yet the lost continent of Lemuria which has been written about a lot in old texts, describing a greatly advanced civilization with cities like Atlantis, and how over 65 million humans died when it was flooded by the ocean because they were messing with too many things, is deemed to be a myth by science on account that we don’t have evidence of it Well, we also don’t have a lot of evidence of what humans where doing the other 175.000 - 275.000 years, so I consider this rushing to a conclusion

Right? So much history has been erased, forgotten or deemed as myth.

Yep! The most disturbing thing about this is that it's actively shunned by the scientific community, because it goes against "our historical teaching" like wtf, they'd rather protect the facade then actually admit they were wrong. Maddening dude

yep, u make a good point: much of human history is still a mystery, with long stretches where we have minimal evidence of past activities. our limited understanding of early human civilizations leaves room for unknowns

The oldest wood structure recovered so far is 476,000 years old, in Zambia, predating modern humans.
