This might be a hot take, but I literally don’t see the problem with population shrinking That does NOT mean I want people to die I just mean that if we see less births, and because of that there will be less people, it doesn’t seem like a problem So many of our issues come from being here with so many. Excess waste, pollution, housing prices getting absurdly high, need of fossil fuels to produce enough energy, traffic jams, unemployment It all would be significantly reduce with less people, wouldn’t it?

yeah me neither - the only real people i imagine would have an issue would be the corporations that forever expevt year on year growth and fresh blood to replace workers they’ve burnt out life is always changing, always adapting - it’s just a shift towards equilibrium the moment more resources become available, population will increase (i.e the baby boom)

This is why people in a lot of African countries are struggling and suffering because there are no birth control mechanisms put in place. People just give birth to kids they won't be able to cater for. The little resources available might have also been corruptly taken over by the corrupt politicians.
