What does leaning into FC 2 era mean exactly? I just don’t like the spam. I still don’t understand why Warpcast doesn’t have its own token if we are supposed to embrace degen.

What do you mean about embracing degen? Except for the fact that my feed has too much degen I haven’t picked up on anything that feels like warpcast is trying to push us that way. Spam isn’t great either but i can mostly ignore it for now

Warpcast won’t do their own token but they allowed someone else to distribute a token and integrate tipping in a very spammy way. To me that’s embracing it. Vitalik casting in the channel is also moral support. They are not directly telling you to buy the token, but we all know what’s good.

😰 it’s a permissionless space, they have to allow it. The only way they could have disallowed it is through censorship which I think would lead to much worse outcomes. But gosh I hate for people to come to a conclusion they need to buy a token bc of speculation and hype. 😥😥

WC is censoring ppl right now as we speak. Just compare Supercast channel feeds with WC. I think they allowed it cuz they don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, they might even like the buzz it generates.
