Farcaster Devs

For the upcoming update to channels, my understanding is that users won’t be able to cast in a channel (write access) unless they’ve been invited to participate by the channel owner. Will this be enforced at the protocol level or only on Warpcast? I know read access will remain available to everyone.

It will be a huge unlock imo. I think once devs can get spam-less feeds via Neynar API, we are going to see many new FC apps. I’ve been having a lot of fun tinkering for the last two weeks, but still can’t defeat the spam. I wrote down a few questions I’ll be  bringing at the dev call this week

Afaik only Warpcast to start. If it works well, will be added to protocol
