After learning more about web proofs the last few days, I'm shocked as to why more consumer founders are not talking about zkTLS strategy. (web2 reputation & history) + (crypto incentives & interoperability) = attract new users. Users in crypto only have so much onchain history and credentials. But by using web proofs to bootstrap reputation, builders in the space can incentivize users through crypto native mechanisms. If enough founders can prove interesting models of web2 data + web3 infra, then I think new user adoption is inevitable. https://terminallyonchain.xyz/zktls

It's also shocking that Farcaster or Warpcast did not implement web proofs as part of the onboarding process. Knowing who a person is can help with community building and dealing with spam. Think about all the history/data we have accomulated over the years on web2 platforms

don't the the infra / support was really ready for that in early onboarding. But cool to see Reclaim and Opacity working on scaling up their services. Agree with you at a general sense, but i think it's a lot easier for small products and quick experiments (i.e. tmr.news) to test first

It's never too late. I know @eulerlagrange.eth is down to help implement this stuff for Farcaster or Warpcast. Adding Twitter verification seems to be a step toward that direction

resistance is cool, i wanna do incentives like get a free account or decide who to boost based on reach across other social platforms if someone has a million tiktok followers i want them boosted day 1 so i see them in my feed when they join

and let them into the channel automatically with an alert that that's where their friends already hang out (both friends confirmed from follows and friends with confirmed shared interests that you haven't met yet)
