In hindsight the warpcast autofollow list was actually a social capital incentive that effectively turned power users into advocates for the protocol

The users on the auto follow list had an incentive to grow the protocol because social capital accrued to them

Kinda similar to a token in that sense

Didn’t really feel like a big win. I ended up on that list, and now I’ve got a bunch of bots and inactive accounts following me. Wish there was a way to clear out dormant followers

It can feel embarrasing if you take this stuff seriously. I can't walk around thinking "wow, im so lucky to have 45k followers" when a big portion of my followers are prob bots or inactive accounts

Same sentiment. Its kind of fake social capital in that sense because while you may have a big number on your profile percentage of those users that are active today is very low
