I tried listening to it, but I couldn’t make it more than halfway through. Im not sure what it was, but it felt kind of boring to me. Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for his style or what he raps about, so I’ll give it another go, but I doubt my opinion will change much. What did you think?

Im a huge Freddie fan. I only listened to the first handful of songs and really liked it. my favorite thing about Freddie's work is his collaboration with absolutely goated producers: Alchemist & Madlib - thier soft melodic beats with his thuggish delivery is such an awesome combo. I feel like you either LOVE Freddie Gibbs, or just think its alright.

I really liked 1985, but I can't say I enjoyed the whole Alfredo album. To me, he sounds the same on almost every track. It’s the same issue I have with rappers like Dave East and Benny The Butcher. They got bars for days, but most of their songs feel repetitive https://open.spotify.com/track/1p1b9LdLJ0REuFJX9mYtFX

Thats WILD. I think Alfredo is one of my favorites. My wife actually got me a limited print "bone" colored vinyl that came with a comic book. I acutally dont like Dave East or Benny at all. and its interesting you compare them to Freddie. I think ive shared some of these before. But I really really really love his work with Madlib too.

ESGN was what introduced me to Freddie. Thuggin so hard. these two were bangers. I honestly have loved his shift to soft but banger production with his flow/vocie. its not for everyone clearly
