No way! It wasn’t the best one in the series but I still enjoyed it and have watched it like 5 times already. I’m no typical Matrix fan though. I feel like the internet loves to hate any chance they get. Like without any more details, ppl are already mad about this new film.

I was really hoping that they would also eventually bring back something like The Animatrix. I’d really like that!

We're in the 'universe' era of films—if M5 is good/passable, there will probably be 8-10 films by the time we're done. 

I'm excited for the new direction, too! Drew Goddard is a badass.

Mixed feelings about this. I hope it turns out well, Matrix universe has a lot to offer. Goddard is the director of "Cabin in the woods", this alone deserves respect. Btw, writing a screenplay with the writer of the book, which in itself seems to be made on purpose to be scripted, doesn't seem so meritorious to me.
