I think it's a good video. Most people who aren't from Toronto seem to be missing the point. It pays homage to the city. IMAX was founded in Toronto, Caribana dancers, Shai, city scapes, etc. Going with b&w was also a smart choice to give it that old school vibe. I say the video is a solid 7.8/10 if I had to give it a rating.

I've watched it a few times now and it feels like they are running a similar play to Hotline Bling

Oh wow that’s super helpful context. I was originally very confused by the Shai cameo. It felt like him standing there promoting his new shoes was a bit forced lol.

I thought Drake was a bit corny per usual but the choreography was awesome
