The problem with the Warpcast Power Badge is that many spammers have it. Here's a list of the top 100 casts with the most recasts in the last 24 hours, made by users with the Power Badge  data.hubs.neynar.com/public/dashboards/b1FfpKPs0IPEVvsopekEgCrlJK7a8CqARAeMRSvC

To create a clean list, I had to manually filter out 145 FIDs that are spamming but still have the Power Badge. You can find the list of these accounts here docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SMqs9VqucNo93k9doDJZMBtUwp4OjuzdwLjBo22MnNA

If I can identify these accounts with a reasonable amount of effort, then so can the Warpcast team. As it stands, the Power Badge is not very useful. Don’t just take my word for it, analyze the data via @neynar

A good illustration of why the problem of filtering out "spam" is challenging.

Most of these accounts are not spam. They are uninteresting to this particular person. One person's spam is another person's friend. It's a relative definition.

If you don’t follow these users, even with the power badge, low likelihood you’ll see them. 

And if they are really offensive, just mute.

Spam is the biggest issue Farcaster has and you've lost many users because of this problem. Compare both the filtered and unfiltered lists here and tell me im wrong

I was transparent about everything I pointed out. If you are right, and the power badge is useful, then we should see many devs utilizing it and building valuable apps. This is not the case.

The biggest issue for Farcaster is supply of interesting and entertaining content.

In user interviews, that's the overwhelming reason people stop using the app (not enough stuff to read). Priority mode solved spam for most people.

Your list is highly subjective. I would suspect most other power badge users would disagree with your definition of these accounts as "spam".

You're continuing to harp on this because it makes your protocol metrics harder to compute.

Something is off with your analysis method if deployer and ace were picked up as spam. Losing users due to spam is a stretch, where would they go where it isn’t?

Completely disagree that spam is the biggest issue on FC tbh.
