If you could add one thing to channels—what would it be and why?

+1 on moving membership requests and approvals into Warpcast.

Two more: 

1) The biggest issue with channels is that users still treat them like tags. From what I’ve seen, only channel announcements bring users back, and even those get less engagement now than when they were first introduced. Pinned casts without announcements get far less attention, which suggests most users aren’t visiting channels directly. It seems like a design problem since Warpcast is so focused on the home feed.

2) The other big issue is that we need more quality users. Most membership requests to /music are from spammy users (by my own definition), so I end up rejecting the majority of them. The same users keep requesting repeatedly, which is frustrating, so I only check Cura once or twice a month to go through the pending requests.

I wonder what you classify spammy because I tried to get In and you didn’t accept.
