Guidelines are good, but still can't be verified. Don't trust, verify. 

I think channels are still quite small, and DAU is much lower compared to the total number of channel members. You're right that this could become a problem if we scale to thousands of high-quality users. I wish we had this problem right now. 

I think we need to tie rewards to participation in channels. This would help make them feel more like communities rather than just tags, which is how they feel right now. Channel mods could become curators, and Warpcast could build something similar to /rounds directly within the app or even within the protocol itself

yip. if it's not a black box it will get gamed by farmers. there should be rough guidelines tho on what kind of contributions are rewarded.

reason i favour algorithm is because the channels are too big for mods to reward fairly with a manual process.
