yip. if it's not a black box it will get gamed by farmers. there should be rough guidelines tho on what kind of contributions are rewarded.

reason i favour algorithm is because the channels are too big for mods to reward fairly with a manual process.

Even if the algorithm is a black box and you don’t fully understand why someone is receiving a higher reward than others?
