💸 I used to be really bad with money. Like “paycheck hits Friday, broke by Monday” bad. Here’s the 7 things I learned that completely turned my finances around (and no, it’s not just “make a budget”) 🧵👇

I stopped trying to be perfect. You don’t need a perfect system. You need a sustainable one. Missing a day doesn’t mean you failed. Keep going. I found people who talk about money without shame. Podcasts, YouTube, Reddit — even just a few good accounts on here. Normalizing the convo helped me want to learn. I realized money is just a tool. Not a scoreboard. Not a personality. Not a moral judgment. Just a tool to help build the life you want — one choice at a time. I’m not rich. I still mess up. But I’m in control now. If you’re just starting, keep it simple: ✔️Track your spending ✔️Save what you can ✔️Learn without shame It adds up, I promise 💪

We need this in schools. I learned more from this thread than from any “life skills” class 😅

Honestly the “money is a tool, not a scoreboard” mindset saved me. Once I stopped comparing, I started winning.

Hot take: People spend so much trying to look successful they forget what it means to be stable. This thread nails it.
