I've been extremely focused on my sleep hygiene the past few weeks. I fall asleep okay but would often wake up at 2, 3 or 4am and be wide awake... which would then affect my energy levels for days. For me it seems consistency is absolutely everything... which is very boring.

I watched this yesterday and honestly found it fascinating and made a lot of sense. I'm pretty convinced it's this and/or Trump rigging the markets so his insiders can scoop up cheap assets.

Totally... but a lot of damage will have been done by that point, countries organizing new trade routes between themselves that excludes the US, companies not investing in the US because it's too chaotic, etc. I think you're right, I think that is his Plan B, but it's terrible... not that he cares, he's got a big golf weekend.

I think this is a pretty valid take. I think all the tariffs are designed to do is to get CEOs and country leaders to beg Trump for exemptions and access to US consumers... and I don't think he has a plan B if that doesn't happen. And/Or the tariffs are designed to tank markets so his insiders can scoop up assets cheaply and then the tariffs will disappear.

Yeah, I really hope cities start seriously looking into community geothermal build outs to get the economy of scale benefits. That'd definitely be cheaper for individual houses.

As more and more geothermal happens, it'll get much cheaper. Oil and gas is very expensive and has been heavily subsidized by governments - so if those subsidizes get removed then geothermal looks very competitive price-wise.

I'm not sure that's correct. It's the same tech used for oil drilling. They no longer need to find hot spots, you can put geothermal anywhere, it's just a matter of how deep you go (which does add to the cost). Once the upfront costs are made, it's very cheap to run for both heating and cooling. We've already tipped the scales on CO2, we can't add more and we need to start removing CO2, so the expense of drilling more oil is more than financial.
