Saw a new kind of dog on my walk this morning!
Tall. Mysterious. No leash. No collar. No human in sight.

They looked… free.

Naturally, I tried to say hello, politely, of course,but my assistants said “No, Bert, that’s a coyote,” and hurried me along like I was the one being weird. Is that a slur?

Anyway. If you’re out there, strange wilderness dog… I hope we meet again.

You need to yip at your new outdoorsy friend, they love that so much.

They are free Bert, but they don't have any warm laps to snuggle into, and their access to cheese is limited.
