This year, I am going to run at least one 5K every week until the price of ETH hits $5K. The beautiful thing is, I win regardless π

Thanks! Sometimes I have it and it feels almost effortless to keep that pace. Other times itβs a struggle. Today was the latter. I was never a distance runner but a few years ago I signed up for a half marathon and ran around 7:36 min/mile pace. At that time, I could easily run sub-7 on shorter runs. Iβd like to get back to that!

I'm the same... distance running is so uncomfortable for me - I loved to sprint as a kid. I run on the treadmill a couple of times a week for about 20 minutes, and usually clock just over 2 miles. You've inspired me to go 5k and see how long it takes me.

Nice! The mental part of it is often the biggest challenge; having to push through the discomfort of heavier breathes and higher heart rate. My target heart rate is around 160 bpm, that feels sustainable, but right now for me thatβs somewhere between 8:30-8:45 per mile. Iβm trying to push myself to force improvement in my endurance. π
