I'm the same... distance running is so uncomfortable for me - I loved to sprint as a kid.  I run on the treadmill a couple of times a week for about 20 minutes, and usually clock just over 2 miles.  

You've inspired me to go 5k and see how long it takes me.

Thanks! Sometimes I have it and it feels almost effortless to keep that pace. Other times it’s a struggle. Today was the latter. 

I was never a distance runner but a few years ago I signed up for a half marathon and ran around 7:36 min/mile pace. At that time, I could easily run sub-7 on shorter runs. I’d like to get back to that!
