I use elementor, allows me to make templates, and acf fields so I can add custom fields and post types without having to do any code.

I have no idea what’s going on I just got here. 

Cool, I haven't started / needed to use ACF yet, but I have it in the back of my mind. I tried elementor but I kept getting issues between the theme font styles vs elementor global font styles -  seems like they were conflicting even with the settings option in elementor to use the theme styles. Otherwise it was fine

Oh that’s the worst. Sometimes the theme loads after elementor. The work around is write a little code that changes the css load priority on elementor to load last. How are you liking Wordpress so far?

Honestly it's very nice once you get over the initial learning curve. Even just for static pages, it's much faster than writing html/css from scratch. Plugins market is great, although I wish fewer pro plugins were monthly subscriptions. Best part is UX for allowing nontechnical people to add content
