Gemini reaches settlement agreement with New York prosecutors Gemini Exchange has agreed to pay Gemini Earn investors $50 million in digital assets as part of a settlement with the New York Attorney General. Previously, prosecutors said that the exchange misled thousands of investors, including New York residents. Gemini was also prohibited from offering any crypto lending products in the state. Gemini Earn has suspended withdrawals in 2022 amid the bankruptcy of credit service provider Genesis. A few weeks ago, the exchange announced that it would be able to return all of its assets to users in kind.
