Developers have found a way to de-anonymize Ethereum validators This became possible by analyzing P2P messages from validators and launching an observing node. The researchers ran the client on four nodes and were able to identify the IP addresses of 15% of the validators. It is assumed that if the number of nodes is increased, the percentage of de-anonymized validators may also increase.

This includes paying fines of $229 thousand, destroying the supply of MNGO tokens and delisting the token from other platforms. In 2022, Mango was hacked for $110 million by Abraham Eisenberg.
