Headline here in US/NY this morning about a massive cargo ship losing power near the support beams of the Verrazano bridge. It’s too similar to Baltimore. 

Further speculation aside, I can’t help but feel we are going to see another red scare (similar to the McCarthy era) in the US over the next decade or two.

Tough to say, but it definitely doesn’t seem like coincidence.

Of course. It’s just that it’s these first two that have made news for hitting a bridge and then almost hitting one within two weeks of one another. It’s possible I’ve missed these types of headlines around near “accidents” for the last 30 years...

Sure, it could have been an attack, but keep in mind, boats don’t just float and steer and cross oceans with hundreds of thousands of tons of valuables. It takes constant work and maintenance.
