If you believe in something, keep at it

we're a few days away from launching Moxie -- what we hope to be the onchain economic engine of Farcaster

but it's not entirely new -- in fact we've been working on many of the Moxie concepts since 2016!

we dreamed a lot of this up back then and we worked on an early onchain social network, Pepo, and early ethereum scaling tech

The problem then was there was
- no infra (no l2 chains like Base)
- not good enough wallet tech
- no network and tech stack like Farcaster

With everything in place now, we started plotting a while back to launch smth like Moxie

Much of it was considered when we built the Jam farcaster client in 2022/2023... but it really came into focus earlier this year when Farcaster frames launched

We knew when we launched Not A Token in April that we wanted to definitely move in this direction

So we've been working on it for 8 years, and really working on it 2 years, and really really working on it for 4 months
