Universal enables exposure to assets previously not available on @base (think SOL, DOGE, and BTC), with CEX-like performance and price execution.

Universal creates wrapped versions of assets like SOL/DOGE/BTC called uSOL, uDOGE, and uBTC.

When you place a trade, these assets are minted/redeemed on-demand by a network of merchants (i.e. market makers).

TLDR; you send USDC, and receive uSOL at CEX-like pricing. Vice versa.

This means you can do all your trading directly from your Base wallet.

No need to find the right chain, find a way to bridge there, or worry about liquidity.

Base is the first chain we'll support, but it won't be the last.

In the coming weeks, Universal will be deployed on other EVM and non-EVM chains.

outta curiosity, are the assets at the custodians and market makers visible onchain?

How is the liquidity? Might be cool to integrate with some of these if there have sufficient liquidity to liquidate users atomically
