one of the bigger issues with FFP is that it incentivises clubs to sell off their homegrown players because they count as pure profit. having a homegrown base is good and should not be disincentivised. a clear example of a rule brought in to address an issue that only creates another issue

Also a bigger problem for smaller clubs because they're more likely to have a squad composed of mostly homegrown players.
