Product matters but you need to articulate clearly what your product does and why a user might find it valuable

Lots of over-engineered projects with under-engineered stories

Potentially.  It's certainly better than nothing which is basically what some teams have today

Good use case for ChatGPT?

Prompt: “you are a principal developer building for a consumer product. Write a user story based on this code below. The problem I was trying to solve was X.”

Good question.  I think it's a little easier with CPG products or physical products compared to digital products or sotfware

amen. Most people struggle with telling their story well—web2 and otherwise. But web3 really needs work. Of course, I’m overly sensitive because it’s what I do and how I think.
