Arguably the most under-explored area of crypto is corporate / organizational governance We had a brief flash of excitement around it with DAOs and gov tokens, but those experiments were half-baked and we became disillusioned Excited to see a governance renaissance now that the financial coordination layer is maturing

What do you think the biggest learnings are from past DAO/gov tokens that should influence and shape further exploration? Im interested in this space bc we have much better tooling but projects should be careful not to overcomplicate and add unnecessary complexities Almost all of these prior experiments were god awful at comms and clear messaging

The biggest lesson IMO is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" Corp gov is the gold standard. We can make it more liquid with crypto, but let's not nuke Chesterton's fence in an attempt to improve it. Otherwise, you get gov larps like most of DeFi circa 2020 Also per @nor "externalities rule everything around me"

- Plutocracy is a perverse incentive when there isn't strong leadership in place. - Jeeting decentralization without a plan, turns out, is a really bad placement for "moving fast." - Delegation should have designed as a board with teeth instead it's just vibes && diatribes. - voting on line item budgets is brain rot. - Spirited debates are good, when they end. Neverending forum axe grinding brings everyone down.
