Have we hit peak booze? Alcohol consumption declining but is it permanent? Consumption of beer peaked in 2016. Wine has been falling since 1979. anecdotally, more and more of my friends are no longer drinking - and when/if they do, it’s like once a year the rate that’s increasing seems to match the trend

yeah same for me anecdotally but millennials still leading the pack in alcohol consumption Would love to see the increase in recreational drug use alongside the decline in alcohol
